    Believe it is really a total gray area myself. Never used it on the MR board but do remember a Clark of works telling us we had to use it once on a job in Surrey, the contracts manager said to just have the tub by the work and skim it when he wasn't around. Never had any issues with not using it.

    No skimming out here in Spain. Projection 1 coat only and a fine fina skim and sand down over that if it drys to quick in the heat. No multi finish or anything that comes close to it. External is all monocap (through colour render) scraped or dashed. Prices are not good enough to earn a living...

    The other way to do it would be to take off the lose render and then fix stainless steel EML over that and your good to go. Can be a bit more expensive, but it's always an option that I'd favour.

    I always price it high then get someone else to do it on a fixed price. Works for me.
