I did this a couple of weeks ago and ran my grinder(with stone blade)over the original render to give it a key,pva,tight first coat,then a tight topcoat,went great,done a dusted in the day.

Hi all ive been a self employed plasterer for 9 years now,Been plastering for over 20 years im based up in north east england come across the site by chance when on the web,I enjoy the different opinions of other plasterers as the saying goes your never to old to learn.
