Maybe i could have worded it differently. Last time i used board finish was in 2005 so BG's mix could have changed since then. Never used it before on a re skim before so was genuinely asking. Other than that this is one bitchy forum. :rolleyes:

Only thing I can get hold of is board finish. Been years since using it on new boards but just like the rest of us,, I need to get wages coming in. So Im planning on using the board finish on a couple of rooms this week. Any advice on using this ?

Dont know if anyone remembers but i started to name a few of the people profiting from this on here. I have 20 odd names of companies from a carpet shop to plumbers and alot of plasterers/ builders. I did take this further and report it to The CMA (for businesses) and they did email me back...

Good for you thinking ahead. TBH ive not got much else to get on with, not being able to get gear. I made a claim anyway so not worth the risk getting caught if even if i did have enough stuff. Maybe easy for you to say that since you've been working, but a few lads I know are not as lucky...

I get that, but the guy who got £2500 for each pallet bought these at their 'real' price under a new cash account from a huge well known merchants in return for a cut. The guys with the full pallets are out to profit, whereas a guy with 4 or 5 left over bags left over sitting in the van...
