Traditional sand and cement render alternative

Thanks mate, you use it as an alternative then It’s not a massive area so cost isn’t a real issue, just the achieving a flatter finish so when the outside lights go up it’ll look better

Traditional sand and cement render alternative

Not saying anything wrong with sand and cement. What I’m asking if it’s ever used as an alternative? Mainly because outside lights showing up imperfections, reduces the hairline cracking and easier to achieve a flatter finish.

Traditional sand and cement render alternative

Hi all A guy told me a while back they never touch sand and cement render anymore. He said they use HP12 for both coats as an alternative as it is easier to apply, achieve a flatter finish and it sponges up nice to give a texture. Anyone on here done the same?

I know you may say don’t stop but it is difficult to do when...

    Krend K1 problem

Thanks Bobski. Any problem with taking it off back to base coat and redoing. Was thinking of using R7 primer and re applying. Bit stumped as it’s the first time I’ve had this problem.

    Krend K1 problem

Hi all. I’ve had a problem with a small panel which thankfully is only 1 bag to redo, and I have a bag left over. It didn’t set properly and after scratching through the skin it was really soft and as everywhere else is fine I can’t see what I did wrong. But I did put it on in scorching...
