We only had a couple of quotes tbf and they were good value. They supposedly have a decent reputation, but I feel they've got completely behind on this job (it's well over a month late starting) and then they've rushed it and hoped that the massive storm that was forecast would arrive late.
Thanks for the replies and advice everyone. Sounds like it's as s**t a job as I suspected... Rigsby - appreciate the advice on how the shambles might be rescued - they're in for an interrogation tomorrow morning, so I'll be hoping they come up with a similar solution. It's really good to know...
Tbf, they're not claiming they've finished and are coming back to finish and do a "skim coat" apparently. I'm as much concerned going to be left with those awful beads exposed around every window and the doorway though
Will they be able to cover them up, or will I be left with big ugly beading around all my windows? If that's the case I'm minded to tell them it's not acceptable before they do the finishing on Monday and get them to rip it out and replace with corner beading that looks nice and neat.
Hi, apologies for asking for help as a first post, but I was hoping someone could give me a bit of advice. I'm not a plasterer, but we've got someone rendering our house at the moment and I'm worried they're doing d a terrible job. It's not helped by the fact that they've been over four weeks...
