ive left a 2mm key on there for the finish

Also can I put bonding onto the old plaster as a basecoat for finishing? Will I still then need to key the old plaster? thanks

Hi Everyone I've removed some old plaster and render from a wall that had penetrating damp from a neighbours broken pipe 10 years ago - its all dry now. Here's a video of it I'm intending to render the brick work in two coats. What should I do with the old basecoat plaster thats on there...
