Patch tiny, he gave him 2 different times to come and never showed, looking for advice to patch it, will multi finish be enough to go straight over as it's not very deep at all, heard lime plaster is good with areas prone to damp/condensation?
Just looking for you're advice as let down twice
See pics please...
Was a damp patch (water leak through gutter) leak all fixed and just scraped the loose stuff off and gave a good scrape.
Will multi finish be okay to skim over with or anyone recommend anything else?
Someone had said about lime plaster to use...coving will be going on so not...
Fair point mate. May or may not have been on the old lager last night. I like slaughterting on this forum but yes Mabey best to go a little light hearted at times. For what it's worth I don't cry myself to sleep but do appreciate the good comments
Thanks Andy, means alot. In my defence I get a good amount of whoppers before any advice. Sometimes a litter help from ppls experience is all that's needed for me to chase up with a tradesman. I'm not taking you're work don't worry that's why tradesman are the specialist in that department...
Also Andy, you're patter is shite. Genuinely. 25m breaststroke
Fair enough.
The comment there tho was a bit sarcastic. Just alot of that on here when someones asking ppl in the knows advice. Seen it over and over on here so sometimes throwing insults is just biting to bait. Appreciated you're...
Aww Andy, I've missed you. Still humping fish? Good sook was it? Thanks mate for you're help. Sure you'll have plenty work for refugees down Essex, get some of you're tax back from government. Keep humping mate
Did I say he was the best? The house was bought before we got It plastered. This was mentioned as damp/condensation. Spit and polish a dick you little trans cretin. Swallow it aswell. Call your business spit or swallow. No hate towards plasterers but you act as if you're the b*ll***s! I've seen...
Cheers mate, we did get the roof tile and gutter repaired but that was more just precaution as was no real evidence of any leak, hopefully tho that was the case and no further leaks, if we're any at all.
Hello all
My brother's flat (top floor, 3 storey) had this damp/condensation area top corner of bedroom. The patch looked like was caused from broken gutter/roof tile...they are fixed now. But since plaster upon touch seems brittle. fully qualified plasterer going to do whole room. any advice...
Used toupret before...good to work with...will the normal toupret stuff be okay or you reckon this flex stuff better? Is the 'flex' so that it will actually have a little flex in the product itself to allow for movement?
