Maybe too much fat worked with dirty water? Were you stretched a bit when you put it on? I'm sure it will paint ok.Marshalltown start to finish this one bag looked that bad when dry had to photograph it the rest was fine
Don't use a lot of water hardly ever put too much on these days. It was the only bag that didn't have black bits in itMaybe too much fat worked with dirty water? Were you stretched a bit when you put it on? I'm sure it will paint ok.

Must be a rogue bag then. I do smallish hits, and only use water to wet the trowel, mine doesn't dry like that (yet).Don't use a lot of water hardly ever put too much on these days. It was the only bag that didn't have black bits in it

Btw @plasterman, like the look of that wall, grey might be the new pink.
Looks good, hand applied?
Yes , doubt I'll ever go back to pinkLooks good, hand applied?
Thinking about it mate, might be worn trowel edge. Check it against a straight edge?Although my finish is flat with no hollows and look great painted why is it when it's dried out i see trowel marks everywhere. Although it looks rough it's as smooth as a baby's bum.
Thoughts please
Is that knauf my finish? Kinda interested in trying another finish.
Thistle spray finish hand applied £7 bag though.what finish is that plaster man
that needs another trowel, so you can get rid of those glut marks marra

or for a bit of kidology a sanz Spanish plastic trowel about ten quid 1 very quick final pass will wipe any remaining moisture off any finish leaving a very uniform finish
but will also shine it to fcuk and ripple it to bollox if used to early.
