While we are on the case......Never understood how do you fix the kitchen cupboards etc to the board , in this case d&d, on domestic jobs?

Wait till it's had another couple of coats of paint and the heaters are on and if you can still see em then start worrying

Studs fixed with resin into blockwork then 15mm copper pipe cut to size to act as spacers

I am currently working on a similar video with magnetic plaster, I've got the board, the helicopter, magnetic overalls I'm just waiting on @theplasterman for dates :)
I would love to see you two work together.....id even come and labour although between the arguments I dont think id need to mix much gear

Just dab duplex boards over it. You f**k*r on here don't half complicate things ffs

Bloody hell that looks bad
Always makes me laugh when they say the kitchen is going in next week!!
Just put it back until it's dried!!
It's not life or death!!

Your to young to remember the vid or you never watched it ;)
Which vid? I was born in 85...my proudest moment to date was getting my NES when I was 6 and discovering video games...i bet when you were a kid they had those wheels with the stick:sorprendido3:

Did one a few years ago in november but should have been in July! Sand and cement then skim but some of it was really thick so you can imagine the drying times! They had the fitter booked in following week , i told them they should leave it but guess what, yes the dreaded it got to be finished for Christmas! :tarjetaroja::endesacuerdo:

Longer screws fixed into the block work

I think in this case the main weight will be still carried by the board. Especially if the gap between the board and the wall is 30-40mm or more. Hammerfixings , or plugs with screws into the dabs maybe, but still.

There is also a bracket that the cupboard hangs on

Mad thread this,,,,i have seen dabs not drying out for 3 weeks or more,
They are to many variables unless you are on that job to call.
Dont worry about it drying,,,

Don't know tbh flynny. No one has mentioned before how does it work. Do you know where the holes will be and would you support that space with, let's say noggins , or something else .... I have seen some really bad failures on site and still not convinced a screw can hold it. I have seen it many times boards shifted only because the ply was not fixed proper to the studs . not getting into argument here, if it works on domestics that's fine by me. Was curious to see how it's done.
