First day with ritmo l today,
Gets it all out and set up, (after a lot of f**k me why is there so many leads etc off my other 2- were used to diesel pumps) plugs it into the supply on the job, kicks off the rcd, we mess about with it, nope still keeps tripping. Can't get hold of blones little reception on phone, this stage I'm at breaking point.
Right I say to one of my others go and get the other machine from our unit (20 mins away) he gets to van there's a puncture on the van, we change that, he gets to my unit brings our diesel back- there's no key in it, turns out a subbie of mine still has the key.
Long story short we mix and put 30 metre on by hand.
Machines are over rated :nocausagracia:, but fair play to anyone that puts mono on by hand, it's hard graft.

thats a get something. anything on day.

im.still a hand baller at mo

we had a bad day as well, nice areas to skim, we had the ceiling and walls on when a 16 stone plumber came straight through the ceiling landing on my son who was still laying on the walls
go upstairs and pull him out, still groaning, scrape plaster off walls ,pull ceiling board down, tidy up, have a another go tomorrow , have a word with the plumber to see if he wants to settle out of court!

I have had those rcd's trip on me mid spray with the owners out and no key.

I now use the generator on every job but plug the water pump into the house.

There are others that never have issues but it seems it is the latest fuse boards that are the problem. I really can't be arsed with a trip so generator it is now.

Saying that it ran out of fuel 2 weeks ago. Only runs 2 1/2 to 3 hours to a tank full.

with any electrical appliance or machine if it keeps tripping out, providing it has been wired correctly, it has leakage to earth therefore as a quick fix remove the earth wire for the plug. this will stop the leakage going to the consumer box firing the cut out switch. modern consumer boxes are fickle and the shock it takes to start your machine cause the problem.

How do you make it pay hand balling mono, the amount of money you must be loosing.
That's before the gyp your putting on your body.
when i was on site getting 12 a metre. me and another spread were laying enough to cover money. eg. 30m front house and scrape back.
50m gable and scrape in a day.

now im on my own company obviously there a premium now. but any large projects i cant be arsed anymore i send to wezly with his trusty machine

@owls
Although the ritmo can be plugged into the mains I would suggest having a decent genie on the job for sure
We use the genie on nearly all jobs now for use with the ritmo
Failing that what I do is plug ritmo into the house then run the water off the mains if holding at least 4 bar of pressure
It really is fairly easy to use and I'm a thick c**t!!!

U
I find if one thing goes wrong when setting up then the rest of the day will go tits up.
May as well go home.
ha reminds me of my partner that. If anything goes wrong setting up. He says wrap it up try again tomorrow . Says it's a sign and we shudnt carry on ha

Please tell your friend that I am no longer your leader because of the Dr's orders and now, after five years in the wilderness, I find myself in a better and happier place.

I can't afford anymore gear, I've spent up in the pft club shop when I was down last week, I'm remortgaging to pay off my impulse purchase of a tub of cement cleaner,.
