hi all

I'm 27 and currently employed and live in Leeds And can drive.

I qualified in carpentry and joinery about 10 years ago but unfortunately due to the lack of perminant work and my financial situation I didn't stay in the trade for long.

Iv always fancied larning to plaster and I'm now at a point where it's do or die

so I'm looking for some one who wants an older apprentice
I'm not shy of hard work and will get stuck in to anything asked of me

I'm not a total stranger to the building trade and I'm pritty competent with hand tools and any joinery (stud walls boarding etc...)
Thanks
Oli

U gud at boarding? May have sumat for you

Honestly mate, do you really want to start on a trade that will wreck your body, by the time you get good enough to earn decent money you will be to old to do it. As said above get out and do something else, all the best for whatever you decide to do mate

This poor Oli35678 one canobi dude is trying to make a change to a better life skimming and looking at walls drying all day long and you lot ain't making him feel alot better about it...i mean I read in paper a good plasterer can earn over £80 000 a year once they are qualified....

Or was it a plumber?

No I think it was a builder
Yeah it was.....it was a builder I just checked
Robbing builder plonk
Hate them I do

How many time served spreads still love going to work, not many I bet
Better of being a chippie easier money
You put someone in any job for 20 years and 9 out of 10 will hate it...and 9 out of 10 will have the worst job in the world..we are english and were born to moan....plasteters arent unique in that.

If I could of helped you out with getting started I would of bud at present I not got enough work on to take anybody on but like to see someone like yourself trying to get on ...keep trying and something will work out .
The work won't come to you
You have to find the work.
Surely there is someone in Leeds can give him a shot.
