I do wonder if any other trades are like us counting the hours till we get back to it??

Took the Mountain bike to a trail centre for the first time in 2 years was nice to get out and took my mind off wanting to get back to work for a few hours..

We all clearly need to get a grip :-/

You need to get a motorbike... its the only time I switch off from work

Pixie whats the 150 like compared to 125? Worth getting? Im on a Husky cr125 at minute
I couldn't compare to a 125 mate I've never had one, but on the right day track conditions weather etc it will leave a 250f sitting though I do weight around 10 stone mind. I'd give the 150 a try I love it. Plenty of poke in it and plenty of fun factor

Yeh they run longer ratios to 125 so means slightly less gear changing, think when I sell mine I will get one! 125 is plenty for me also, I weigh less than you meself so it dont hang about! Toyed with idea of a 250f for long time as its so much lazier to ride but cant beat two strokes in my opinion! Much lower cost to maintain to!

I'm with u on that one, two stroke is the way forward my kxf250 blew up and cost me 1800 to put right that was a complete sickener. I'd def give the 150 a try

Lovely bike!! What years that? I picked up last 2014 Husky before KTM bought them out last year for cheap, never would have concidered them but bought it for £2600, sx125 would have set me back £4000 for same year! Love it

Very nice, couldn't go wrong for that money either. Mines 2013 done two seasons on it I usually keep for one season then upgrade to try and keep fresh though I did take quite well with this one and decided to keep it. Just after giving the engine a full rebuild amongst other things so Will ride this year on it too.

I used to do the same, ride for year then sell it! Trying to stick with it for atleast couple of years this time, always find it a hassle selling them, then getting another and having to strip it to make sure its been looked after (usually hasnt), set suspension up for your weight etc/ tell ya what though, best money Ive spent was £80 on a quick action throttle from the USA, makes it instantly response and helped massively with my arm pump! Something I struggle badly with! Would never ride bike without it now!

Had a few offs this year myself, concussion, chipped bone in wrist and broke my hand in two places, all on seperate occasions. Wear a Leatt neck brace now, after a mate of mine got paralysed from waste down (not riding mind you) earlier in the year it deffo made me re evaluate things!

That's a nice bike! I got my lad a little quad for Christmas and he loves it! Going to by him a ktm auto next year he can't wait to race and he's only 3 [emoji28][emoji28][emoji28][emoji28]

It can happen in a blink of an eye something I try to block out when racing, I got myself insured now so I get a weekly income if I can't work. Hard lesson I learned when I couldn't work for 13 week after an off. And yous thought the Christmas holidays were hard to pass lol

Cheers. Best getting them started young plasjack I'm looking forward to them days. My wee boy is due to be born on the 14th jan, hopefully he follows in daddy's footsteps. Although I wouldn't be one of these pushy parents you see around the track. Dads screaming at their boys after they come in cause they made a mistake is ridiculous.

I totally agree mate I never got pushed at all

Having kids is cheaper than keeping a mx bike and going racing every week imo. will tone it down a notch when my boy starts (hopefully). Will be goodbye nice fresh shiny bike hello 10 year old scrapper

Wait till your mrs gets a few horses, then you'll say having a kid or a bike is no expense.
Childcare is steep, good ones don't come cheap.

fricken donkies... seen horse split up families in the past.... should be made into lasagnes as far as I am concerned

It is mad, if you got a horse generally anything can be flogged for you. From solariums to lasers or back manipulation the list is endless.
