Was gonna say I race to! I'm from Birmingham mate

I only stopped a couple of years ago when I got a bike nicked. £3500 that wasn't insured :crying:
Still haunts me to this day. Make sure your well insured mate. It's not easy to insure them but they're so easy to steal and sell on. All my mates have had theirs nicked at one point or another.

It would be hard to Nick my bike as its kept in the 2nd living room at the min [emoji3][emoji23] missus ain't happy haha

But I no what your saying its not good theving bastards

It seems quite a few of the guys on here have ridden before or still do, I keep mine in a storage facility at minute, more secure than a garage! One of me mates has had two brand new crf250's nicked from his house in last couple years!

Rossi you ever going to get back into it? I tried the whole road bike thing back in early 20s, cbr600rr, gsxr600, R6, even a KTM520 supermoto but sold up and got back into the motocross, much more fun to me and not constantly worried about losing me licence!

I think about it a lot to be honest. I've had road bikes since I left school and it ain't what it used to be. Overly busy roads, potholes, police technology. I don't know if I could do both anymore though it's too expensive so it would be one or the other.
I don't know whether to give enduro a go?! Keep looking on eBay for a decent road registered wrf or crf X that I can put supermoto wheels on. Best of both then :bananahappy:

With a bit of thought you can get quite a bit into a van even with the racking left in. (y)

There's a GSX1100, a KLR600 and all the gear (tent, gazeebo, chairs, barbecue etc) in there from our trip to the TT in 2013.

I wanted to do both and prob would if I could afford it but like you had to choose one and that was motocross!

I debated that idea for a while, do a bit of green laning too! They aint designed for prolonged top end speed though, you'd have to keep on top of the maintenance or soon end up with massive repair bills! Always been a 125 guy meself, wouldn't last five minutes on the road!

I had off-road bikes from the age of 13-23. Never been a road bike fan. I keep looking at the KTM Freerides though. One of those would do me.

I can't lie, a 600 on full tap does give me a hard on, spitting flames engine breaking up to traffic lights etc/ \m/ if I had a spare 5grand now I would go buy an R6, I barely got enough room for the one bike though let alone two!

Tony why bother with the freerides? Might has well get an exc-f250 or something!

I have been up at the in laws and it is doing my head in.... all just poncing around and it does my head in... all the do is eat and talk about pissing food.... they spend an hour discussing what they might have for breakfast

Yeah, it's my old Iveco. With the 1100 in the back of the Vivaro there's not much room left, bloody thing's a right lump.

I'll take road bikes over motorcross/trail bikes any day. That said, the beach racing on the IOM during the TT looks like fun. :)

the fella I work with has got 3 bikes. his ktm and r1 sit in his living room. never uses the r1 so looking to shift it

I don't want to race around like a mad man. The Freeride is lower geared for trials type stuff too.
