machine purchase

I used to have to do this with a turbosol Mini. i would pour sand and cement into it and if i stopped i had to keep it moving. Trouble was it just used to draw from middle and the stuff round edges would stay there. It took ages to clean

With the eze24 which does only convey you can always keep hardwall moving in the pipe. If you have to stop and rule for example you simply place the gun in hopper, turn the speed right down and leave the gun open that way the material is always moving and your not losing any material. Simple.
His price would you recommend the eze for new houses with hardwall? I like the idea of how simple it is to use but seen a video on YouTube and it looks really slow or is that misleading

if its simple you need stay as you are. Machine plastering is an opportunity to decrease costs and increase profits.

A conveying pump wont earn you money doing hardwall.

I also have to disagree...

Why won't it earn you money? It gets the material on the wall at the same rate as other 110v machines. The only difference is your labour needs to mix the material instead of dropping bags into the machine

You can still apply the same amount in the same time

It will take a damn good labourer who can spend all morning knocking up Hardwall nice and creamy as fast as a conveying machine can spray it onto a wall? He will be well shagged by lunchtime.

If the machine had the same output as a 3 Phase yes he would be.

With the EZE 24 it has a variable speed so you can adjust the speed to cope with the labourer.

With conveying machines such as the EZE 24 it is about organisation and working to a system
We have many customers who it works for and who benefit from it

It will depend on what speed they had the machine on.

If someone was doing hardwall day in day out on a large scale we wouldn't suggest the EZE 24 as the machine for them.

However, if they are looking for a versatile machine with the ability to do it, the yes the EZE 24 would be(y)

It is very simple to use mate, if you want to pop down anytime for a go your more than welcome

How come the PFT Swing isnt marketed as a contender to the Eze24?

Price perhaps?

I wonder the same as it is the closest competition. People often compare the EZE 24 to a Ritmo which isn't a true comparison. To compare like for like it would be the M100 vs the Ritmo.

The mtech 100 has a 3kw motor, what with other things
Iike the water pump and a compressor that would be quite a drain on a leccy cable?

I myself mix 3/4 bags at a time takes no time, fill hopper, rule, fill hopper, rule, mix, rule all at a nice pace. Much less f**k*d than spreading by hand.

Ok so going back you worked as 2 plasterers if i remember
Have you actually layed on more hardwall in a session than the 2 of you would have done without a machine. How much more
Yes it's more as I don't give up so easily can't say how much more as it's job dependant.

Plus whilst your spraying you don't get so easily distracted and start talking b*ll***s to other trades. In fact they tend to stay out the way more.

The M100 has a 1.8Kw motor. The machine and air comp run off separate leads into the transformer, we now use the EZE AC9 air compressor for the M100

Looked in your book, yes 1.8kw. Confusing it with the Monomix.

The Monomix looks a Ritmo contender.

No worries mate, we have a new book out soon and I will send you one up.

Monomix is a great bit of kit. Similar to your old Monojet. Uses a D-6,3 R/S so have the same output as that and a G4 etc

Hardwall is like laying fluff on. If you and a labourer cant do 10_15 bags of that by hand before breakfast you be better of staying home and do the housework.

nobody ever asks for a conveying pump.I ask a potential customer some questions and tell them the machine best suited.

You're a plasterer working every day with years and years of experience. You do private jobs all ranging from mono to smooth renders and texture coats.

Is the Ritmo or Swing more suited to you ?

You could say the same about thincoat and Ocr but that still gets sprayed.

i dont spray all my thincoat basecoats , do a bit by hand aswell. sometimes when i weigh up getting a machine on a job versus the masking and cleaning up i decide to go in and hand apply. I'm talking about smaller jobs with easy access or if masking outweighs time spent laying on. depends on job. Prepping a thincoat job is a busy day, always something to do, if the material goes a long way its not always quicker to spray as you can only lay so much before stopping to mesh , if you do lay more on because youre spraying you need more men to mesh so it defeats its purpose

OCR is a different ballgame, if its over 15 bags i will machine apply, usually because there's alot of material to be mixed it will make sense to have a machine do it and put it on, then there's a downtime whilst waiting for OCR to set for floating where i can clean everything prep for next day etc. it makes sense then to use a machine.

Rarely spray thin coat base coats, especially on a domestic, a gorilla tub of it goes a long way plus masking cills etc up, nah.

Excactly. unless its going on thicker i.e. HP12 over roughcast or pebble dash then you save on mixing and application.

All by hand K rend GP base coat on brick Hp12 over rend and Topping with Marmorit noblo.
