hi does any body know if the new speedskim is any good for use on sand and cement renders or should I just stick with my darby and feather edge?

Feather edge for me..... also like to use my 600mm refina spat in small areas I can't get with my feather edge....

I use a derby or featheredge .but I prefer to use bullnose skirting that's straight.
It opens the render up and leaves a better key and makes it go in nicer

Why would anyone in their right mind destroy a £40 bit of plastic designed to flatten skimrather than using a straight edge designed for render ?
It's like "does anyone on here use £50 notes to clean up spills? "
I give up

featheredge, we often turn the featheredge over and and rule on the back edge to leave the render open , to let air dry it quicker.

I don't do much rendering TBH but I tried the speedskim on a small area and maybe it was because it was wet but I found it ruled it of very well.
