Nela s*p*r*lex trowel

I'm thinking strongly about getting one of these trowels are they worth it how do they compare to a marshelltown I must say the nela looks good 16-4 I'm thinking of going for

Alright lads hope I'm starting this in the right place? Got my trowel tonight when I got in and first impression is it looks pretty good the handle is strange looking but feels nice to handle not to heavy, it seems narrower than the other trowel I'm using at the moment but all in all I can't wait to use it tomorrow got to thank Ryan @Plasterers1StopShop for choosing me and @Danny thanks for my tpf mug View attachment 3239
Just wondering what way you work it time wise as in when your troweling how much time do you leave between rubs with the Nela???

What size did you go for?

With finishing as a verb,he is Saying yes flatten with it as part of finishing ie after first and second coat application which would be initially flattened with your standard trowel
Right i see . By finishing i thought he meny troweling but cheers for clearing it up . Isit better than the refina one. i think the refina one is awesome but nela ones are ment to be better with less toe and heal in the blade . Whats your opinion .

The plasterers 1 stop shop have a brilliant service and are really nice people to deal with ..

Yes i know they are already got nela stainless . But just wondering if you have used refina s*p*r*lex and how you would compare it with nela version
I like the Refina and I have one but I used a Neal 16inch recently and I thought it was as good as the Refina which surprised me as I thought it wasn't before ,they have upped their game .

We looked at the width and it's something we are brining out in another version.

With the current blade thickness if you went wider the quality of the 'blade' would be affected
nela s*p*r*lex order will post review within a week or so . I am a big fan of the refina s*p*r*lex it is all i use . Impressed with the nela premium trowel just taking longer to break in still leaves thick lines on laying down coat but other than that amazing . Hope to god nela is just as good if not better .

What are speedskims like then inknow there are 2 types of speedskims now the plastic ones and the metal blades . Are they good . I work on sites and have to put few m2 on would it flatten with ease or just go over lines and cause bumps ?
