internal sand and cement

any ideas on internal sand and cement alternatives to cpi? its 4.75 a bag now which is getting a but pricey. ocr i got quoted 5.30. sand and cement shouldnt be double the price of hardwall

True I would prefer to use cpi but the cost doesn't work for me.
Have to go old school nick and use a belle

Can you turn the water off on your machine?

It's a pre bagged render its a lot cheaper. I think @Rigsby has used it in the UK. Its made in ireland.

@bobby am going to try and spray sand and cement tomorrow. I think the sand i have might pump. What did you mix it at when u did it with the ritmo. My machine is just a pump like the eze machine.

Mixed it 4/1/1 with plasticiser.we tried to up it to 5 but it didn't like it.has to be wet also.make sure the mixes are consistent.

I might add a bit of fairy to i think that will help.

There's a sand down here called kiln dried sand which is very fine.i will try to add some of this next time to bind it better.

If kiln dried was used on its own probably yes but a small amount to help the muck bind shouldn't cos a issue I wouldn't of thought

All this sounds a right faff, what with different sands,lime plasticiser's and waterproofers can't you just use gypsum. Or like you say nicklearse you and a pleb on the hawk and trowel.
