I would try that out on a test wall first Lee.

d3.4 slowest but still like stu says above its not something I've ever seen or would try myself.

There may be a way you can apply it with a monojet and trowel it down as per usual then rub up.

All depends what finish you want I suppose.

Bear in mind your compressor is low output too

The Germans use a D4-3 cos it mixes it better. if you look on you tube there are vids somwhere. Laying noblo on too thick is not the same as laying too much pre mixed bucket coat on because it spreads about far more evenly and there is much less drag when trowelling it to finish.

So does he still need to trowel finish

The monojet compressor is a k2. its 250 ltrs a minute and is absolutely fine for applying Noblo. A bigger compressor will offer no benefit here

The D4-3 is a 10/12 ltr pump so its gonna pump way too fast to leave as a finished sprayed texture. The time saving is that the material is mixed, applied and trowel finished immediately. Its far easier to spread than silicone or acrylics and you dont get hardly any residue building up on your trowel

So I need a texture gun and a different r&s then I can go straight into the hopper with the dry powder and the monojet will mix and pump? I saw something similar in Germany guys where spraying a bagged texture with a G4 then flattened out with a big spat and troweled finished. Would this be the same ?

thanks ian. That looks very fast. I shud have plenty man power with a team of 3 then inc myself. The contractor has quite abit of this wrk for me so knowing I can spray it is a big plus. Cheers

The comp on my minijet is different to the k2 but I assume the same spec more or less? Will it do the mineral
