Not used pvc bead internally only the flexi arch bead.

I have worked on a large refurb before christmas and the galvanised beading has stained the plaster in quite a few places around this house.
Heard from other spreads about dodgy beads and it may have been mentioned on this forum in the past as well.

Are pvc internal beads worth considering instead of galvanised ?

Can any members with experience of pvc give some pros and cons.

Cost of beads im not too worried about, more the performance.

Im guessing theres a problem with damp if they are getting rusty , plastic beads may solve that but there is some kind of problem for that to happen , much condensation in the property ?

The property is dry as a bone so no damp anywhere,
A few beads i supplied are fine but the rest were bought from a local merchants by the owner and project manager so im not held responsible fortunately. The beads that were delivered all seemed fine.
I have never had a comeback before from any customers complaining about rust.
I can only imagine its a dodgy batch of bead and thankfully they were not supplied by me.

We were asked to use PVC skim bead on an internal once. Tried a few but it was no good. They were to flexy and the web was to proud, impossible to get right. When I showed the contractor he was happy to go back to the usual bead.
