Agree with what you said on the problems mate. Its a very new thing and teething problems are going to happen, luckily it has only happened to roughly 100 items out of over 7000 sold. Also NELA are a great company to work with and they have changed the bonding and this has been resolved. Unfortunately NELA never saw it coming and they are taking it up with the supplier.

Thanks Stuart, appreciate the post. Again, sorry about the issue. Let me know if we can help with anything else. Cheers

It's very weak considering its German engineering ,I thought Nela were designed before refinas s*p*r*lex , great customer service, I hope it is sorted now for ryan ..

Nice reply Ryan - 100% honesty is always the way, respect.

I have to say on the flip side any plasterer that doesn't try these tools even if to decide there not for them is a fool for how little they cost and how hard the job is.

I use a speeskim every day and wouldn't be without it especialy on lids probabley the best money ive ever spent. Likewise I use a plastic trowel every now and then and still after 3ys of using 1 cant decide if I actulay like or need!

I think what people have to realise though is that these things are never going to be a tool for life as we come to expect of our workhorse trowels subject to accidents. Anyone who looks at any plazi/flex trowel and doesn't expect to have to buy a new in a couple of yrs is having themselves on!

All sorted now mate. The original NELA's under a different company name were around before Refina's. We have changed the design slightly to suit the UK Market. The German version is different to the UK, USA & Netherlands. Our competitor has also had the same issue but I think it has been resolved also.

I think the main reason its been talked about more is due to the sheer volume of sales.

Thanks for the comment on the service mate :RpS_thumbup:

Totally agree mate, its not a big investment but it will either work for you or not, if it does it will make you money.

Speedskims are a fantastic product in my opinion as well. It is a shame all new products do get the Marmite brand for a while though.

As you know mate, we won't hide from anything. If we have messed up or there is a problem we will do all we can to sort it and make the situation right. Only way to do business I think
