Keep Black Mould At Bay With Safeguard Dryzone System Paint

Guaranteed to protect against black mould for five years, Dryzone System Mould Resistant Emulsion Paint from Safeguard Europe provides lasting protection against the effects of condensation and is easily applied over standard paint finishes. Black mould is a particular problem in tenanted properties where moisture build-up from cooking, showering and drying clothes condenses on cold surfaces when rooms are insufficiently ventilated. Kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms are often prone to the problem.

Yeah cos the lazy tvats won't open a window :RpS_thumbup:

Surely it's due to most landlords not putting ib decent extractors or insulating walls. Mate of mind had it. Complained to landlord he gave them their notice and moved someone else in rather than insulate the bay

Yup same happened to me....

Ours was because the heating was sooo shite and expensive that opening a window seemed like wasting money :-\ WHich it was...lol

Not always. I was talking a while back with one who insisted that she ALWAYS has her windows open (while behind her every single one was shut tight!) She's in a local council house which is very well insulated. Anyhow I'm round her way 2 or 3 times a week and she has NEVER got them open but she still moans to my mate on the council that she can't get rid of the damp (condensation)......... 3 kids, 2 Great Danes, 4 cats, hamsters, snakes, tarantulas and a partridge in a pear tree.

nowt worse than a sweaty snake

Its not I tried after posting. I can't find any concrete information on why it would work. I will say this though, it is obviously a paint but nothing else can be put on top of it so unless the customer wants white walls in their finish not sure how much use it is.

Makes sense to just have something that lets water or condensation repel but how is it different to bathroom waterproof paint at that point lol. I dunno just can't imagine thinking this would be much different. i've a keen mind for science and love investigating damp and all of the related stuff but aside from sales stuff all I can get is their vague assurances.
