Not a bad price that still spanky , that including vat ? Paid 450 ish for my bfr750 with 2 bats and charger , got 7 batterys now and plenty makita gear . Good gear i say :RpS_thumbup:

Including bud yeah, just gonna have to bite the bullet me thinks...

I'm only moaning because a few months ago I see one in screw fix the 750z body only for £120! Looking now £230 :(

Was it !! A missed that one like ! A would of got it as a spare for that price , was that on deal of the day on there website or in the catalogue? Sick a missed that lol saved me so much time on jobs its a god sent

U will also think why the **** have a been screwing with normal drivers for the last how ever long lol , saved me a hell of a lot of time and paid for its self in no time at all

Was looking a while ago on tinternet came up screwfix £120 gutted I didn't buy then!

Have used them before the senco ones thought they were crap!! Never had much luck with them ie constant miss fire and jamming so wasn't really interested, have a lot of boarding to do over the next couple of months so thought I would give one a go..

Plus used gregs makita n cad and it hasn't misfired once..

I've got 4 li-ion makita batts so though I might as well give it a go

Hope it's decent payed £210 including in the end at a shop pick it up tomorrow it's the BRF550, so 25-55mm screws, was tempted with the 750 but with it only starting at 45mm didn't bother..

Aye senco ones r shite like , my makita i have no problems with at all , fast enough motor to . U will be happy with it mate will save u a good few days if u have a lot to do like

How comes most of the these on fleabay are body only.........................:RpS_confused:

How **** is that.......................:RpS_thumbdn:

They seem to be a product that comes quite alot bare like mate , u can get the sets and that like on the net, cheaper to buy 2 batterys for 60 each off net and a charger for 30 and drill bare , screwfix 450 ish always changes every catalogue so if not desperate wait it out ....

Because the seller didn't have time to steal the complete set. Load of **** anyway.

Where have you seen the batts for £60 bud I've only seen them for £80 ?

Replicas from amazon and eBay for 30ish are good, got one few weeks back. Just as much power and lasts well too.

What out reckon of the makita ones Tony? Guessing you've used them all with all the boarding you do?

Bought the Makita originally but it kept jamming. Shop replaced it and the replacement did the same. Got my money back and had Hilti ever since. Been double boarding ceilings with 15mm sound check board and 55mm collated screws. All day on 2 batteries. Wouldn't buy anything else.

Whats best collated screws to get tony?

The only reason the makita jams in my opinion is user fault .... If you push it up to the board just a little bit and take it away then try put another one in it jumps and miss's a screw out and that goes into the head of the machine . Just make sure u go right down with each screw and not to catch the end of the drill and push it in a bit as it will jump to next screw with the other one still in the roll . Thats the only way mine has ever jammed ......

Cant see any other way it would apart from the screw length setting really , or poo screws which i dont seem to have had a problem with , i just get mine from wacks never a bother with them

Well mines the 750 makita , it hoys 55mm in no bother double boarding or over boarding etc. the sencos r slow i think and no power . I agree with the radio a love mine :RpS_thumbup: even more so cos a got it for nowt for joinin howdens joinery co lol 120 quid saved ! Dab one in all ! Fair doos to you tony you board literally every day , if i was the same hilti would probably be the way , in my eyes though the makita hasnt let me down at all

whats it like battery wise do you get a day out of the 3ah battieres?

Aye u can get alot done on one battery , depends on screw size i supose , it doesnt feel like u change them very often .... I havnt counted the screws per battery lol

Aye my makita wouldnt be far away from that like , im using evolution screws and they r fine in makita also the senco ones are
