Getting a new youngin

nail his bait box to the floor, make a fresh flask of coffee for him but really load it up with sugar and coffee, and finally to finish him off mentally and emotionally throw his fckin phone away
 
If he's got a plastic thermos flask, take the cup off the top fill it with dry plaster, turn flask upside down & screw onto cup.
Then unscrew the bottom of the flask off & drywallscrew it to the table in canteen on site or onto a spot board or similar then re screw the rest of the flask on.
When he either try's to lift it it won't move or when he try's to unscrew the cup off the top plaster powder pours out everywhere :RpS_wink:
Done it to a few sparkys & chippys in the past :RpS_thumbsup:
 
So then, That youngin i had last week never turned in on monday, so interviewed another one yesterday, this one had nvq 2 and he was keen as mustard. Told him i only wanted two things. 1 turn in on time everyday and 2 be a good grafter.

told him what time i would pick him up. i got there early expecting him to be early as its his 1st day, good impression and all that, but he wasnt.

Rang him up, said he'll be 2 minutes, i waited 10 then left for the job, gets a text 20 minutes later............"I'm here, where are you"...................:rolleyes)

Maybe getting a youngin is a stupid idea......................:RpS_unsure:

First rule Arti , tell them if you are not out side waiting ,i will go ,but that works if you are on time to ,respect goes both ways

I got a new one today. He was there 10 mins early has a moped keen as mustard seems switched on. And showed me some nice pics of a girl he's shagging!!
I think he could be the one...

Update 3.

Got another new youngin yestersay. he's only 17 and knows nowt.

I was pmsl cos all he went on about was getting a big bore exhaust and a dump valve for his 1litre corsa..................:RpS_laugh:

He kept putting his hands in his pockets so after the 3rd time i made him hold a straight edge and featheredge when he wasnt doing anything productive

He got the message in the end......................:RpS_thumbup:

Only time will tell if he's anygood...................he was already top of the other two cos he turned up on time........................:RpS_thumbsup:

hats off to you, I couldn't be arsed, most young lads are a waste of time.
 
Had some shockers at work with apprentices literally feels like training a piece of wood. Going over basics every day constantly needing to tell them to work just finding them staring into space. Not sure if anyone else has noticed most of them seem to really lack social skills? Just seem to have one word answers don't say hello to customers just seem different to the type of people I was at college with.
 
lost youngin number 3 today. He didnt turn in this morning and got a phone call off his old man................doesnt wanna be a plasterer anymore....................:rolleyes)

A young'n in our street chucked his job last week cos his fatha told him to. Apparently his fatha reckoned he was getting the piss took out of him cos he was only taking home 200 a week. The young'n is only 17 :rolleyes)

Don't get me wrong it's a good wage learning! I got 120 a week in 2010 bit if he drives etc and wants car etc and want to go out with his hates and too the pub? It's not that much with how much it costs to live. My first insurance on a Clio was 2600. Absolute bull.

Well his dads just fuckd him over then.....unless hes got him lined up for somthing better i suppose....:RpS_unsure:.2 ton a week, books in after tax?( im asuming?...at 17:RpS_thumbup: .....unless hes a crash test dummy id say hes got it good.
