I get mixer ready pour water-full bag on top mixer straight in away it goes I don't have a particularly powerful mixer n just a 140 neg whisk 2-3mins and jobs a good one no lumps spreads n finishes fine.

I also use the 1800'w mate and they have two handles on them, surely if you have negative paddle in it'll pull it down from the top anyway, never had a lumpy mix.

What do you do if for some reason you want a slightly stiffer mix ? Not having a pop mate each to their own i guess.

Use less water

Oh dear, not quite sure what to think mate, whether you didn't understand what i asked or whether you were just being arrogant again !

To be fair i didn't word it that well, i meant to say if you had to do a stiff mix would you still do it one handed, and still end up with a lump free mix ? or would you use both hands ?

I had forgoten what a complex task putting gear together is. I have a labourer to do all the tricky stuff, all I have worry about is putting it on the wall.

Yer thats why I got the ritmo as the mixing drills and buckets were doing my head in

Had an eibenstock 8/9 years its never seen a new set of bushes and its still going strong, after mixing adhesive, hardwall and render and finish, worth every penny of the £280 it cost me
