Alright, I'm doing a ceiling tomorrow, but forgot if its just the one or two layers. I only put one layer on last ceiling I done, turned out alright but want to make sure. Also does it make any difference if its on artex or plasterboard? I know all the things to do before applying the plaster, just forgot how many layers to do :(

Ahh, I guess people like their sarcasm on here then :rolleyes)

Sit if its the middle of the night. Don't want to miss in the dark. Hit the rim and then get splash back on your legs!

Jeezus, you keyboard warriors make me laugh. Do you not realize that the main reason for a Forum is to ask and explain things to others? Yet all I get on here is ridicule and abusive comments, some really nice people on here.

good god this is why this trade has gone tits up,had a builder ring me today about a few ceilings said i would pop over and have a look on the way home,30 mins late rang and said not to worry as the roofer was going to attempt it..

I had one very similar once, had a call for a garage ceiling to scim, job was just around corner and I had 10 mins so I popped around straight away. Got there and fella apologised told me the roofer doing flat roof overheard him on the phone and said he'd do it for 50 quid. Hope it was rough
