How comes everyone who goes to morph's workshop are bald...............................:RpS_confused:
 
Well that's made my mind up. If I can book as many courses as I want I'm in. But first I've got to build a barn to practice in.

Here's another question:
Why do all the pallets of gear in the background look different to the couple of pallets at the front?

have a look at the date on the video paul diddnt have the shikkui back then same as when that video was filmed he diddnt have the japanese trowels it was only later on when he got a jap trowel to try he realised its easier to get the finish required for clay with the jap trowel

So when you spoke to him just did he mention why he doesn't come on to answer the questions? :-(
 
maybe you need to attend a course for those things marra....................:RpS_unsure:
 
im just putting 2 and 2 together from what paul said to me when i met him a couple of months ago and the date of the video, and remember it wassnt that long ago he went to japan which would be when he switched to the jap trowel.
and why do you think he doesnt answer the questions, you can take the piss all you want with all this "what else did he give you" but did you actually give these products a try or a chance, no you diddnt so how can you write something off without even trying it.
admitedly i have only tried the clay once, but i liked it it was nice to use easy to work with and a wide variety of finishes and colour and textures, same with what i have seen of the shikkui, and so what if people are saying "well its just the same as what we have got over here already" its called competition thats how businesses and markets work, when any of you started plastering did any of you think, ah sh.it theres already a plasterer in this country..........tell you what i wnt bother.
IF people had not just wrote products off straight away and actually tried it first or even gave it a chance then you would all have the answers you obviously so desperatly want (which you dnt actually want you just making a point of paul not being on here anymore).

also it takes years and years to build a product and business up as you all know so it is likley to be a while before its a known plaster to be used and mabey people asking for it
 
@jrplastering I think people would have more respect for the guy and the product if he didn't charge for people to go and try his "new" product and find out how to use it. Christ even BG gave us a FREE day using both their premises and materials as well as their machine to try out the Thistle Spray Finish.
If it was free I'd go and find out about the gear and assess whether it would be of interest to my clients. If the gear was to my liking then he'd make money from selling me the stuff rather than trying to get some of my hard earned just to find out if it had potential for me.

@essexandy would you work for free for a new client then so they could see if it was in there interest to part with some hard earned and have you do there home, its a business the same as yours is revenue has to come from some where to fund further progress

not at all just pointing out a few facts this is getting childish now really everyones giving it the biggun like they know all about it and im admitting that i dnt know hardly anything about it but from what i have seen and the little bit i have tried, its got potential and also the builders we have spoke to about it have then come back to us couple of weeks later and said tell me more i might try it on this job, the job we are on now is a big money job and the client wants his building to stand out above all others around it, he asked us today about the shikkui, we still need to talk to paul and see if what hes proposing is possible but its another lead to follow another chance for this plaster to get out there for people to see

No it isn't. I supply a service, he supplies materials. He'll never sell me a bag of clay plaster because I won't pay to suss it out. If he gives me free access to assess the product he just may sell me many tonnes of the gear. That's why BG let you go there and use the Spray Finish and many other companies in many different areas of commerce give out freebies and free training with their products.
 
Its like school jace the ace. The more you get arsey the more people will pick up on it. Now be a good boy and go and make paul a cup of tea and warm the toilet seat for him
 
bg are a multi million pound company and can afford to do it, paul is not, do people not pay to train for wallcrete then??
 
time and a place steve, i dnt mind banter thats fine been there plenty of times but to run something down than no one knows anything really about is different, i was just pointing out why people havent got these answers that they are "desperate"to get, just saying the reason why you wnt get the answers

I wasn't digging you out marra, just pointing out that you're biting a little bit. I actually agree with you - good luck to the claymonster if he can market it :RpS_thumbup:

Whats the reason then? Does lee need to go on a course to get his answers? Im all up for new products and ive actually spoken to paul about having a go in th the future. With wallcrete whenever we've asked questions eirher @warriorupnorth or @PICSbob have been there to answer them.

I would pay to go on a course if I thought it would benefit me but when were not getting basic answers people tend to not be arsed.

That serious enough for you?

but ive said why there has not been any answers, im guessing becuase every other thread i read about it just says "yeah well i think its crap" after a while it would start to wear you down.
plus shikkui has only been in the country a couple of weeks mabey a month theres proberly still things that have to be worked through before any answers can be given.
another reason pauls proberly given up not to long ago there was a thread, cnt remember what exactly it was about but all of a sudden people just saying "well i think hes just trying to take peoples money", "its just a scam it always happens when times are tough".
if it was my product i would think well fu.ck ya theres plenty more people to talk to about my product who dnt think im a robbing cu.nt.

im not trying to have an argument with anyone im showing that there is 2 sides to every coin so to speak
