Great work, I really like Oikos and that they have just the right mix of materials to choose from and good tubs etc.
have you used the marco polo gear as I want to try their finish with shiny specs similar to a granite finish?

Not yet but the bloke I work with does. Where I learnt oikos products there id also a course on the san marco products too. Can get you details if you want

Oikos is not venetian it's a fancy acrylic paint. Take it from me. Blue bell franchise of oikos played around with including san marco (mrco polo) another acrylic. it may shine but understanding what is good is imperative

What about oikos rafaello stucco that creates a polished plaster. Or the kreos that creates ardesia, another venetian finish. Not to mention levigato and the travertino romano with the oikos name

You only appear once in a while but always negative.
stay in your hole!

@jamesthefirst lol too negative, like the other fella who was gona test all the marble plaster in a lab and tell us how crap it all is! Hes still lurking in a hole i guess....

Its bizarre how that geezer seemed to come on all guns blazing and then just disappeared. I reckon hes still trying to get over you suggesting that he may be a tool:RpS_laugh:

Another Travertine Romano job done today. This time we mixed the trav with black to make the grey the customer wanted. This also shows that these finishes can go in any house whatever the size

was supposed to put this image in the post and not the blurred one. Cant find any post editing options here but if a moderator would kindly delete the first pic in the last post and replace it with this it would be appreciated

This isnt a plaster finish but something we have been working on over the last week or so. Creating imitation beams for a terraced cottage. They look the part and are made up from no wood whatsoever

here are the end results

upstairs

Also done some work for an office in manchester working on 2 pillars.

pillar coated in primer ready for skim as current condition was ropey

the pillar was then skimmed with m/f and fine filled to make it perfect before painting and lacquered and here it is in current condition.
here it is in current condition

all that is left to do is a good buff up to make it impeccably smooth and shiny. as per client request. Will post up when done

Those beams look good, they only need a few rusty square head nails banged in and bent over for an authentic look :RpS_thumbup: nah, they're the mutts :RpS_biggrin:

very nice these must be the projects u told me about... the beams and excellent mate! @Rhys is right a few rusty nails and even hundreds of pin holes to look like dry rot or wood worm damage will work a treat :RpS_thumbsup:

Could just sit there on break time chucking darts at it? :RpS_thumbup:

Just extra detail to make them look older and more realistic. Loads of positive feedback from people who have seen them and the owner of the house is over the moon with the result
