I sprayed the blockwork with water before hand and then used hardwall on a block work conservatory.went to b&q next morning and see pva multi, i falt thats handy save a few quid on pva, anyway got in chucked a coat over the whole lot,it went on lovely over hardwall, went down cafe 4 a bit of lunch, when i came back the whole lot had shelled and some was even on the floor, ran a hose in and drenched the walls managed 2 get an end product but lady wasnt pleased and refused 2 pay up again.what is the point in saying pva multi no need for pva???

Cheats never prosper! Should skimmed it in the afternoon as jim bowen once said thats the gamble!

1) why did you float one day then skim the next 2) you don't save any money on PVA with unifinish 3) why did you put it on then bugger off for dinner when the hardwall was bone dry 4) the woman didn't pay you again??? You f***ed up before??

Sounds more like plasterers fault for not having suction control what's PVa multi ( that's multi finish advertising unifinish on the bag ) why did you not skim it same day would have gone sound how many years you been plastering

i would'nt pay you either if you were squirting a hose pipe round my house and the plaster was falling off the walls, think about it mate.

You have made mistakes in the telling of this tale, but reading it rings alarm bells ,if you described this work to me and did it for free, I would of swerved you.

I reckon he's been reading the advert for uni on the bags of multi and thinks that he's bought unifinish :RpS_scared:

Had a lab once who used a bag of dry-lining addy instead of white cement. They were similar looking bags and it was lovely and fluffy but I declined :RpS_thumbup:

Lots of people believe the bag with the add is the unfinish, bless them but even so, this guy failed .

it's not there fault they can't read, many people are under educated either through no fault of there own or just because they are an ignoramus and i think this leads them to belive they can become a tradesman over night, after all how hard can it be? you just mix it up and put it on a wall what else do you need to know

:RpS_laugh: Serves you right sunshine.... I would stick with the dick head stick if I were you, not even as if its a unifinish issue...

Dumb dumb want some gum gum..:RpS_lol:

Yeah, another suction control issue.
Off to the cafe in the middle of a set :RpS_laugh:

that's why I take water, bananas and apples to work with me one because I would never eat cafe food and two I can eat and stay where I belong on site looking after my work not buggering off shame on you!

i often have time for a sit down meal mid gauge with a starter and desert followed buy a cigar and a glass of fine cognac, then trowel up what we put on before we ate. we keep 2 dining chairs in the van and through a table cloth over the spot board, and as it was roughed on the previous day there should be plenty of drying time to play with so i would have probably just had another cup of tea and finished reading the paper before i went back to work

Sometimes half way through sets I fly out to Dubai to stroke camels

Surely the original post in this thread was a baited hook which has reeled a few in but' then again i have seen nuggets do c##p like this before and have usually took a job they should never have started or looked at in the first place.

I have been in most b@qs around London this past month and never seen any

I think the point here is well lost now, GPS gets to see more of London than I do,ps why do you buy in b and q GPS ,prices or just convenience, I buy a lot from travis or jewson ,but we have deliveries most of the time due to parking restrictions congestion, if you move your van you cannot get another legit spot etc. I hope you are making a nice penny with all that effort..

Mainly convenience as they open at 7, plus prices are ok. I liveon the outskirts off London so it's relatively easy to get around.
