Hi mate - thanks for the enquiry, yes we do some offers on our Speedskim website and Speedskim ebay but these are only on sets.

600/1200 Combination set £47.50 plus shipping

600/1200/1800mm Triple set £87.50 plus shipping

Since there are a number of customers returning for the other sizes after purchasing the 1200mm model we do provide another deal set on our Speedskim website:

Thanks for the quick reply Scott. Just deciding whether or not to go for the 1200 or 1800? Which would you recommend or which are most plasterers going for?

I do alot of over-skim work are they just as good for this as they are on boards?

I have spoken to you on ebay before when i was enquiring about them, which way you want me to purchase them?

You are welcome, yes they are great on over-skims mate :)

We would always recommend a 1200 for first purchase as its a great all-rounder. We have customers making enquiries asking which size would we recommend that have been very specific about the fact they do large areas. We have then recommended the 1800mm. When they have fed back to us they have been pleased with our recommendation. So its really up to the individual and how big the areas are.

Our Speedskim website is more user friendly to purchase than ebay. When you purchase from the website you get an instant confirmation and vat invoice by email. In some instances (depending on what time of day the transaction) the product can be despatched the same day you order - so sometimes its a slightly faster overall delivery. You can pay by PayPal or card on the Speedskim website.

In the confirmation email that follows the Speedskim website transaction there is also a quick reference Speedskim Introduction & User Guide download. This contains useful 'How To' guides and common FAQ's, including tips on care and maintenance.

However we do accept that some customers prefer the ebay purchase format :)

each to their own :)

Ok thanks again for the info mate, i will have a think. How quick when you have applied the plaster can you use the speedskim? Do you need to jump on it near enough straight away (is it better when the gear is really wet), or is any time around the flattening in process ok?

Thanks again for the help mate

I wouldn't be without a speedskim now.
Cant wait for the pole attachment for ceilings.

Have I said that already?

Took me a while to get used to it but love it now. Wouldn't say it gets me home any quicker but defiantly takes the sting out of large hits.

Whats happening with pole attachment?

Hi mate - the pole attachment is almost complete. There have been a few moulding issues that needed to be addressed. We are hopeful that parts will be available next week for final test. Fingers crossed we can sign it off as such and release in December.

We are doing what we can to speed things up and will be doing some offers on the Forum with Danny's permission.

Pleased you are getting on with your Speedskim - that's good news! :RpS_thumbup:

Tried one of these a few weeks ago, just tore the surface up. The blade needs to be chamfered, like a pre, worn trowel.
