take it its a common problem for us plasterers (tennis elbow) has any on got any tried and tested treatments cuz im sounding like a tube off smarties when i walk LoL so any feedback would be great
I used to get tendinitus in my wrist which meant i couldnt use my left hand for days at a time and occasionally really bad pain in my upper right shoulder, meant i couldnt lift my arm above my chest height without extreme pain, never knew why though and thankfully ive been pain free for a year n a half.
Que tendinitus tomorrow!!!
That's bad mate!!
But next time i would ask the mrs for a hand :RpS_thumbup:
Danny,
I always put on right handed, but I can trowel up with either ,and this is because tendonitus in the right forced me to do so.
I deffinetly helps, tricky to start with, mastered in 3 months or so.
Dont have any more injections Ian ime telling you it will fcuk you arm right up try the strap and see how you get on, i had the op years ago and its never stopped me from working in fact it cured it nowadays i get the od twinge but i put that down to old age.correct mate!! i told him the other year that i dont want anymore!! he said 'i understand' but now the elbows are beyond funny now!!! ive tried loads of stuff, physio and the likes. but hes told me that they are that bad theres only one thing to do and thats to change jobs because surgery just wouldnt allow me to do my job if i decided on it so it looks like injections (last one fncking killed, the worsted ive had yet)
i got rid of my tennis elbow with using ice 2/3 times a day and going to physio once a week. it cost £35 a sesh but really work
Lol, yeah mate its a proper op well it was when i had it done but thinking about it that was getting on for 30 years ago so things may have changed a bit, the surgeon who did it pionered this op for tennis elbow and also invented the tennis elbow strap my mum worked with him so i jumped all the waiting lists which were about 6 months in them days but bearing in mind he was the only one doing them.It was funny when i whent for the assesment this bloke was so well respected his Jag with personal plates was parked on a no parking spot and when i entered the office to see him there was a big no smoking sign behind him and him sat down with a big lardy on, his name was Dr Chen not with us anymore but sadly missed and a legend in that field of surgery.do they put ya to sleep?
sounds like an idea, what they call it again the Meava lol
