been spraying parex blanc. didnt seem to spray that nice compared to normal g00. screaped nice tho.
as were going over a pre rend were spraying a bit stiffer. but it has since blocked the air nozzle quite a few times. 3 times in 25 bags today for example.

any ideas as to why? air hose to far forward?

its got nothing to do with changing your air nozzel you should always have the nozzle set in the right position . We used parex blank a few years ago and had the same problem we ended up having to go to a D42 to stop our problems . I think there is marble mixed in this product to make it more white

its something to do with the marble in it as said. the last time i sprayed this it buggered my eyesight for about 2 days as i didnt have any health and safety shades on site, when scratching back

Les is right it does have alot of marble content in and more fines than normal mono it goes hard as fk and quicker than monorex we use a fair bit of this gear

Lol sorry be interesting what everyone thinks I bet it's a lot easier in the summer (if we get one) with a machine goody takes a lot longer to get it on by hand for a next day scrape

we thought exactley the same weve actually changed from parex to webber when it comes to white as there gear seems as dead as a dodo slumping and just not a very comfortable product to work with not slagging parex off mind you just that one colour seems to be differant to the rest

weve been doing it same day over monogris and theyve been pretty late finishes but just about getting it.

as les said he changed to a d42 rotor, and iv only just started using d pumps and have no idea what the numbers mean, could some1 explain to me what the different ones are and what the difference is?

Nick did you watch saw3 last night? It made me think of the pain you're family must have gone through during the war

Tis made differently see.
Have you tried G00 ? thats a white same as the normal monorex to spray

to me the numbers look like ratios thats my suggestion like

we know to stick a 4-2 in for krend and a 3-4 for roughcast and a 6-3 for everything else but if someone can elaborate on the numbers, Blonkers or Les I would be happy to know more also

On the subject of best gear I tried that parex printer on a painted brick plinth. It's lovelly stuff.....all plump n fluffy and fills holes with no slump. This stuff is the definition of a modern render like

I have a test panel on of parinter, It's on painted pebble dash and you cant pull the mesh it tears an freys, seems good stuff. I want to riblath, base and mono but the bloke is going with parinter mesh, fixings an mono, It all comes down to money in the end.

its what ive been saying for yonks on here. its better than maitie for me and thats saying something as matie is the best adhesive on the market IMO.plus parinters 20% less cost wise than maitie.

loving the Parinter

We got a renovation spec for a sound painted building where we are using Parinter - very similar to Maite but they say if the paint is sound on it goes and I have to say it is impressive - first time we have used it

aw...... made up for you. :RpS_thumbup:

make sure you give any green areas on the substrate a blast with lankomouse, otherwise nasties will eventually come through.

Nick, when you stop spraying to mesh or drop a lift what do you do with the gun? do you always hang it over the scaffold or put it into a tub or lay it on the boards. You really need to make sure that that any run out of gear when you turn the air off, can run clear of the gun because thats what will block your airline. I cant really see why a d4-2 would make any difference apart from taking longer to drop a wall because there so slow. Its like watching paint dry if your ruling behind someone using a d4-2.
