After 12 years my spotboard has been stolen from outside the house I'm rendering :mad:

Need a new (or second hand in good nick) one asap. Will pay cash. I can collect anywhere in Essex/KENT.

DiD you phone the police irish spread and report it stolen what does it look like how big is it I will keep my ears to the ground if I hear anything have you checked e bay to see if it is on there.
 
Can't think of any one in Kent who may be able to help, sorry mate, i'm sure there is some one that way out though mate:rolleyes) what about some Poi's some over there has some

K.k I dont know what a poi is. Is it something like that COD game me son plays on his nintendo x-box ?

Henry the cops round here didnt even bother to call round, same when I was mugged. Gave me a crime no. so I can tell my insurance company but the spot was on someone elses property so I'm sure I wouldnt be covered :mad:
 
No just the board he wants Bod not sure if he wants it in metric or imperial will have to ask him.
 
I/ve got a spare stand which I've stored in my lock up for emergensys (sic) but I've tried wickes/b+q/selcos etc but they dont do render/turn over/skimming boards. I dont wanna try travis etc cos they.re rip off. Need one for monday at the latest. Cheers lads
 
Irish, we always use nice cut ply, any size you want,corners trimmed too.It is wood though,and I see from your threads that you may be searching for a board made from another material,but do not specify ??
 
My old spot was a skimmers and a plasterers dream. It had custom V's on all of its 6 sides for cleaning the angle trowel, was covered in autoglym so the plast/rend wouldnt stick to it. Gutted :mad:

not covered by insurance mate but even if I claimed 50 or whatever for a board mt next year perimium wood go thru the roof,. Tanks kebab. me partner got a mixer wile I was on Hollidays
 
It was probably a machine plasterer that stole it trying to slow you down.such a shame.sorry to hear some of the hurtful remarks.we all know guiness is no good on spot board it gets into grain of board an looks like shite.the police do offer a councilling servise did you look into that?obviously wont bring board back but maybe closure?
 
You can do 9mm and 3mm together as well just depends what you have laying around and use a good waterproor glue to stick them together f you are not confident in doing it yourself employ a carpenter or join the carpenters forum for further advice or you could do a chippy course at Goldsplinter.
