they gotta play each other too if city win it will be interesting but somehow i recon utd will snatch it "things" tend to go their way in these situations.

I thought city were out of it but after todays results they are back in it, the derby will be a cracker, unlike man u to have a few wobbles in the run in .

Got to be Utd. im just happy the toon are in europe...champions league would be awesome ...even if we did get humped.........:RpS_thumbup:

ive said city all along so ill stick with them, theyll win at home which puts them level but with a better goal difference, only problem being newcastle away for them.

whod have thought that at the start of the season, pardew has to be manager of the season followed by brenden rodgers at swansea.

i just hope our fans dont get unrealistic again next season expecting us to win the title....... still plenty of fans living off the keagan days. had an awesome season though and like most fans didnt think pardew was the man.. i stand corrected..:RpS_blushing:

i would rather the toon do it than any other team we fcuked it big style great fans the toon army they deserve it

back in the "entertainers" days under keegan i remember the toon being alot of fans second team.....:RpS_thumbup:

Coventry city were 'the entertainers' for one season under strachin in 98-99. Now they're league one failures lol

wasnt strachen a player that season aswell at about 40 odd? and they had one of the most under rated players ever in Dion Dublin, that guy was quality,if hed have been at a 'fashionable'club he would have over 100 caps for england.

The Newcastle team with ginola were a great team to watch, 95-96ish finished second to man u after being in front for a while, boooooo :RpS_mad:... A think man city got relegated that season too, changed days

id argue that keith gillespie was better than ginola that season,
gillespie lived down from the road us [in quiet a modest house]when he dropped down the leagues when he played for bradford city, was a decent fella to boot, once chatted to him about how he was in the same youth team as giggs, beckham, scholes etc all a bit surreal really at the time.

He was player manager 97-98. Think he was in 98-99 too but didn't actually play. Dion dublin was brilliant. Top class striker, everytime he had the ball he looked like scoring. Played centre back a few times too and put others to shame. They also had noel whelan, darren huckerby to name a couple. Also had one of the most consistant goalkeepers the english league has seen in steve oggy ogrizivic.if it wasn't for shilton and seaman he'd have been an england regular, again if he was at a bigger club

Gillespie was better at tracking back than ginola. but the only decent game i remeber gillespie having was against barcelona when asprilla scored a hatrick... was canny gutted when keegan sold cole to utd for 6 Million and we got gillespie part Ex... think cole had a stinker his first season at utd......shame...:RpS_laugh:

one of the first FA Cup finals i seen was coventry beat spurs in a 4-3 thriller and keith houchin scored a quality diving header to win it..... steve oggy was class in nets though....:RpS_thumbup:

Cov fans hold onto that game like you wouldn't believe. The clubs fanzine is called GMK, gary mabutts knee lol

i used to like going to cov we used to take over one of there pubs was like a drug den before the game

I did an e at cob once ended up in there end having it with some geezer on the stairs going out the stand with the rest of the yids cheering me on

They're all drug dens regardless! Was probably the beer engine or the oak, they're right next to the ground

I used to love the Midlands not to far to go and plenty of sport especialy Wolves they were always up for it.

should have put a crafty 20 on it :RpS_crying:

I wonder what hurts the most for MU supporters?

1. They lost it to Man City?
2. They lost it in the 94th minute, with seconds of the season to go?
3. They lost it at home to Man City 6-1, which gave them the superior goal difference?
4.
