HI there, iv been plastering over 10 years and 85%ish of are work in domestic internal skimming, looking into a machine to start spraying the gear on.

Iv been told by a few that teh m tec m100 is a very good machine for skim can any one confirm?

Can a machine be worth while skimming a few domestic livingrooms out a week?

Thanks in advance

The answer to this surely now must qualify its own in the "frequently asked questions" thread. ?

The lads will be along shortly to tell you about the ritmo mate.

A plastering machine is gonna mix the gear, convey it to where you are plastering and put it on the wall for you. You would usually do these tasks yourself or pay someone so you need to work out if its beneficial to yourself

He prefers being a t**t................I bet he's not like that on the gardeners forum, they'd kick him out the potting shed:RpS_thumbup:

i find an empty beer bottle at the foot of the plant will sort it. they love it. all the pests will be in the bottle in the morning not on th plant, then simply bin the bottle

just from my own research the famous " ritmo" is not aprroved by BG to spray multi like the m-tec and does not need the expensive gen to power it, pros and cons pros and cons from the old posts all i can see is PFT sales men on here pushing for the brand no real info on the new m-tec yet. just lookng for an honest opinion, all the best

HMMM your own research please illaborate :)

the Ritmo does not need a genny to run it if there is power available. It is available in 110v or 240v. Surely it doesnt matter what make the machine is but what is more important that the end users are confident enough to use machines everyday instead of putting it on by hand. And proving whether its worth using a machine to skim or not.

B G are not backing M-tech or PFT for there new spray skimming.. I had a meeting last week with B G and all they want is info on how there products spray through any skimming machine regardless of who the manufacturer is ... Put your self in there place why would you only back M-TECH they just want to sell bags of skim coat to any companies useng machines ..... And that info is from the horses mouth

yes BG and St gobshite are hand in hand.:RpS_scared:

thanks chris I am a lover of the garden ont sly.:RpS_thumbsup:

so does this mean BG will have to approve marshalltown trowels?? sh1t me what if you use a ragni is the gaurantee on the skim buggered:-0:-0 get real maaaan:RpS_cool:

the TPF FORUM.

thats right we never seem to get any M tech users settle in here. Come on guys your'e all welcome we could have some right old debates

2 serrated spats and 2 swiss army trowels ....probably end up in the back of the garage next to my broken joddy, plastic trowels s*p*r*lex spat and trowhawk :rolleyes)

it doesnt even turn mate you can have the thing if you want i reckon its past it though the water pump doesnt work either, how do you use the swiss trowels blones to you load them up off a bucket trowel or just use them to get it on tighter after youve troweled it on?
