Thistle pro finish

I have used over a pallet of it since it came out.
The method of application is done.
Where are its fans to say its great.
It serves a purpose for small areas only in my opinion .
Good point it don't finish like multi.
Use minimal water when troweling up, it’s got polymers in to allow crystal growth and aid adhesion and it can tear if to much water is used.

Don't have a problem with it tearing,it's just no good for anything less than small stuff.
Inferior finish on any larger hits. As bg info says for a reason.
ThistlePro FastSet Finish is the guaranteed way to get the job done faster. It’s a quick setting gypsum finish plaster that provides a smooth high quality surface finish. Ideal for patch and repair jobs as well as smaller internal walls & ceilings. It provides a durable base for applying decorative finishes.

It’s made for small stuff, aimed at areas upto 10sq.

Our local bq trade point had a small display of manufacturers products during the week.
Why won't they stock this considering they no longer stock the failed multi finish and bonding they made.no excuse for lack of space.@apprentice.

Their choice & decision

I know it is, they same happened with uni finish, limited stock, surely yous have asked them to trial it,they must have said reason why not.Seems a bit of vague reply.
Uni Finish was absolute garbage, and I gave it plenty of chance !
I have in all honesty have not tried Pro fast set finish, just don't do just Bog lids and tiny kitchen walls so zero point for me. The fact that its about to die says it all though, Imo, if it was any good it would be in demand. Its not though mate .

That just might be the problem stockists don't come onboard then it will be withdrawn. I never heard why officially uni was stopped manufacturing.
