When I have to, that's what I use

I carry a box of them and a box of tiger grip

Tiger grip are better and longer lasting with a diamond texture on the grip, less slipping.

Both good though.

I wear gloves when either floor screeding or thin coat rendering. You do need protection with these materials.
I have seen men with dermatitis in their hands from using cement based materials. The skin was just falling off and patches of flesh showing. They would keep their hands covered in paraffin rags. They would try to keep away from the site agent who would not let them work as it is infectious.

Dermatitis isn't infectious Malc.

I suffer terrible got patches with no skin, can't wash with soap, it's not infectious though

Lot of garage spanner men suffer from this. Damned if they do or don't., OPil attacks their hands same as cement does, but the gloves cause sweating & equivalent of foot rot. Cotton gloves either get soaked in oil/petrol and just don't have enough feel.

yup. Tell me about it

Get yourself Vaseline (lip therapy one), small dollop rubbed into hands then put a pair of cotton socks/gloves on before bed and ware all night for a week or so and that is a miracle-cure.
I have this on repeat from the doc,
With me it's the lime, and chlorine in pools fuks me up bad,
