Hi guys just joined.

I’m 19 years old got my own van and tools. Been an apprentice 2 years not the fastest but capable of leaving a good finish for skim and rendering. Is 19 too soon to be doing own jobs and will customers choose a kid to do their work?

Best of luck, remember one thing, quote high and don’t be a bottom feeder!

From my experience it is very hard to break into the domestic work at 19. your not a finished tradesman by a long way.
At your age I was in the final year of a 5 year apprenticeship. as a young plasterer I went house bashing subbing of a large plastering firm. I also needed money every week and continuous work.
