Hi, new to this forum but have recently had the whole back of our Victorian terrace rendered. Old render was hacked off back to brick and then 2 coats of sand and cement render applied. It has been complete about a month and we have just brushed off the loose sand in order to paint and found two bad patch of fine cracks and blown render that sounds hollow when you tap it. One patch extends about 2.5m x 0.5m the other about 1m. Pics of the cracks. Feeling gutted and want advice on what's best to do? Am waiting on the company to get back to us and come out to see it (we've paid). Thanks

What was applied to the background before rendering and what bricks were rendered over?
