Hi all, got this machine which we bought for cementitious fire protection works but as you can see on the photos it was used once. Unfortunately it's been hidden away for the best part of 5/6 years.

Bought from Plasterers One Stop Shop

Any questions welcome although you would all know a lot more about this machine than I do!

Looking for £6.5-7k. Based in Cardiff

highly doubt anyone on here would want it buddy recon you'll struggle to sell it at all to be honest
For what reason would it be a struggle to sell?

@Chris Lewis - I think you’ve got a great chance in selling this machine, I would however check the water pump isn’t ceased due to inactivity.

7k mark is quite spicy as at the time you bought it, it would have been around that price new as a full setup. They are currently £7975.00 for a full kit.
I would say a fair price for the setup would be between 5.5-6k. That’s all assuming it has a generator which I can’t see in the picture?

If it doesn’t have a generator you’re looking considerably less. I can check records to see the price you paid at the time to advise.

I would also look to advertise on Facebook, we would be happy to help if you email some pictures to me directly: ryan@p1shop.co.uk

Please add your contact details also and I’ll call you to discuss.

Good point. Sure we've got the generator but I was told that we would keep that. If it affects the price that much I'll ensure its included. Cheers for your help
Machine value would most likely be around 3k mark then. Would also be very difficult to sell without a gene. The machine only was around 5k back then off the top of my head.

A gene is another 3k…. They may as well buy a new setup.

he is struggling to sell it it's an out of date unpopular machine and he wants far too much for it he's already had it on here and no one was interested I really can't see that changing

Ah ok, I've no idea about it but guessing as it was 2016 ish it's a bit dated now. Any ideas on other groups where someone would want it?
yes it's dated and well overpriced buddy not a popular machine compared to what's out and about either the price needs slashing by a lot

Surprised you think it’s unpopular- the K4 is a huge selling machine for us, in fact, I sold 6 yesterday! Would even go as far as saying it’s a very popular unit.

people in the know wouldn't buy that machine maybe first time buyers that have no idea about machines and what's on the market for similar prices
A pretty ridiculous comment to be honest.

You obviously have no idea who’s buying these - you’ll be surprised to know it’s long term customers from when we sold PFT.
Yes, people change from them to us also!

The K4 is a very highly respected and proven machine, made with many of the same parts as our competitors versions

It’s also a lot more cost effective

just a cheaper imitation of the best yeah some people go for it, why anyone would downgrade from pft to one of these god only knows

In your opinion it is a downgrade, many parts are sourced from where they purchase parts from.... It is simply manufactured by a different brand.
As a company we can offer far more support and much more service than any of our competitors, we are at least three times the size of our competitors and only growing.

I know you are very much Team Orange and we are all welcome to express views, but having the right knowledge and experience on all machines is key to giving the correct and truthful views. Have you ever used one of the new K4's?

At the end of the day, they are built to last. They mix and spray on the wall, same as all other machines - and we support our customers throughout their machine journey. If it does the same job but is more cost effective and you actually get more for your money, why wouldn't you? No impact on performance, no impact on running costs, no impact on lifespan! It's all the same with more money in your pocket.

haha service and support not that great from what I hear great at selling them though no doubt about it

I beg to differ, and the retention of our customer base and the reviews we receive can support that. Obviously, you'll always get some negative, especially with the volume of sales. But we will always do our utmost to ensure we support everyone.

Have you actually had any dealings with us as I don't know your name? Alsoo you never said whether you had used a K4....

no and no and you're right you will get good and bad feedback from what I hear great at selling them not up to scratch afterwards and don't take it personally it's just what I hear and yes the k4 will get render on the wall I've personally never used one just seen them side by side with the g4 and you can just see they are the knock off machine

As I said, all are entitled to our views, thankfully, the majority of our customer base doesn't feel the same as you. We pride ourselves on aftersales, but you'll always get negative from both camps. Sometimes there is also a reason for it which isn't always shown by one party.... We actually welcome all feedback as it gives us the opportunity to improve.

I would welcome you to the P1 depot so you could meet our team, view the business, and see our machines correctly, also giving us the opportunity to show you the intricacies of the machine that really make the difference - I am very confident your opinion will be changed after that.

Nice small Genny to run them

yeah that wouldn't really sway my decision though and the guy selling one for silly amounts of money wasn't even including one haha
Ok keyboard warrior. It was used once and we bought it for 7k. I didn't know the generator was included. As per my post I don't know anything about the machine. Genuine questions. I looked and a guy was selling one last year for 5500 and it was battered so I based the cost between these figures. If its too high I'll reduce it but really no need for nonsense comments.
