Just out of interest how many of you bed thin coat beads in finish before stapling/nailing as recomended by bg

Board is aimed at Low to medium suction backgrounds while Multi is aimed at medium to high suction. Multi is fine on boards as its a gypsum product but it tends to hang a bit longer than board finish.
Not so fast, boy wonder. You forgot to mention the variables! How old the dust is, working in warm/cold temps. The speed of the plasterer. It all adds up

With Bonding. Ok for a board or 2. Anyone else done it?

Yeah, it's fine as long as you squirt a gob of GripFill in the bucket while you're mixing (y)

His personal hygiene is carbon neutral, he just goes into the back garden with a bottle of fairy liquid he "borrowed" from a customer when it rains
Mind you, you wouldn't want to be anywhere near him during a heatwave.:vomito:

First things first. Why do pe think that board adhesive is made if bonding is suitable for fixing boards? Secondly, if you are told whoever is in charge to use the wrong materials either get it in writing or make sure you have a witness to the discussion and make sure you tell them it’s wrong. Thirdly, if it’s a domestic job, do you really want to risk your reputation? We are only as good as our last job. Fourthly, who in their right minds wants to waste bonding with the current shortage of it?
Well that's two minutes of your life that you won't get back wasted Gary.

Bollox, try and pull a board off that has been fixed with bonding, even better 50/50 bonding and finish.
AUTHORITY IS NO LONGER TRUTH. TRUTH IS AUTHORITY.

Its on bgs spec sheet as they say not enough plaster goes through the holes if only stapled
Staples have never been an approved method. British standard was always dabs, screws or nails through into timber.
