Hi plaster folks,

recently I applied Proroc multifinish over concrete slab just to see the setting, hardness, etc.

to my great surprise, I find it cracks very badly. is it common?

I wonder if this is such a terrible product, how can it manage to become quite popular.

is there anyting wrong to simply apply it over concrete with 2 mm thickness?

Did you use pro roc base first prior to pro roc finish?I've never heard of it.

no, I did not. so the pro roc base coat can be applied over concrete without cracks based on your experience?
I've no experience in it martin.I just googled product briefly and noticed they do a basecoat so would assume it would be needed on the concrete prior to finish coat.Just as a float and set process.sorry I have never heard of system tbh.
