Hi
I spray, rule it off, then trowel it up then serrated edge to train out air bubbles then I repeat the process, then I bed the mesh in, then apply another coat serrated edge again then spat it then power float and power sponge finished with a light Hand sponge, go back the following day and mist it with water, wait two weeks and apply first coat of primer repeat the process over the next 5-days, wait 1-week for primer to dry and apply top coat with a midget trowel I find you can apply more pressure and scrape back better,
using circular motions with my bamboo float I create the desired effect.

Which sponge you use on the power float mate thanks.

We had it on for 10 am the otherday and left at 9.45pm hung around forever. Granted weather wasn't great but still
