It’s a nightmare Danny mate this time of year, I been watching motivational videos to perk me up one of them without boring everyone was about how much time we all have each and what we gonna do with our allocation of time, since then I’ve tried to get up earlier to make the most of each day, eating a high carbs breakfast also is vital this time of year , makes loads of difference to my day

I think today everybody is back to as normal as can be....

I certainly have the january blues I dont know about anybody else...
Mate I wouldn’t worry about it too much I just forked out £700 on a vet bill for my dog and was due in to have a hernia opp today which has now been cancelled because I have positive for COVID and it’s still probably not the worst January I’ve ever had!

Someone more cynical than me could be forgiven for wondering if that kind of scenario could be used as a convenient way for the NHS to reduce operating costs....

Awfully useful (*potentially) to have a magic 'scientific' test that gives a remarkably high number of positive readings, and which is supposedly beyond being challenged. Could help keep the infection stats usefully high, for the goverment propaganda, too.

Anyway, that would be someone more cynical than me, you understand.

Luckily, I know that everything the goverment and the media have said, this past 2 years, has been 100% honest, true, and accurate. I also know that it's impossible for LF tests and PCR tests to be inaccurate or misleading :coffe:

Back to the here & now, I'm sorry to hear your op has been cancelled - that sucks. Hope you manage to get your hernia sorted before too long, and I wish you and your dog well.

Thought the exact same myself feel fine have done 4 tests at home in the last 2 days which are negative but their one came back positive!?!
So it tells me one of two things
1 - complete bullshit and they cant do the opp as they have no capacity
2 - the tests we all do at home don’t work so the is no f**k**g point in sticking that horrid thing up your nose
