I'm more worried that mcvities say there biscuits are going up 5%.
Its hard enough getting a cuppa and a biscuit out of the c**ts now!

I remember my dad filling his car up saying it will soon be a pound a gallon in the 70s.
It never went up to a pound, it shot straight pass it,
Back in the day, I was pleased to have a car that the petrol gauge was higher than the temperature gauge.
The main reason I change my car was rust, not the end of a lease deal.

My mate who is a builder reckons the is an additional 30k in materials on a two storey extension he quoted this time last year and I can quite believe it. The average joe will
just stop getting things done if it carries on
at this rate

What about labour the rates seem to range from £300 - £450 a day now down south!

Anyone else starting to experience material issues. Couldn't get beads this week, all TP had was hook ons. Said they aren't expecting anytime soon. Was also told in there plaster expected to rise but to 20% in January. Cement is up 22% already apparently due to fuel, drivers etc etc.

Every rise takes us all closer to the VAT threshold.

On £400 a day in my area are the High Voltage Electricians. Basic Electricians £250 . Floorscreeders working on tape are on top money if they can find enough work.

Most trades £300 - £350 here...electricians and plumbers are demanding £450.
