If you are a self employed plasterer with 4+ years experience and want £1,000,000 public liability cover, you can expect to pay between £54 and £72 a year with us depending on a few other factors.

Feel free to give us a try. Our prices are still as per the opening post. We keep it simple and are also here on the forum to answer questions. You can get a quote at www.ashburnham-insurance.co.uk/business-insurance/public-liability-insurance/plasterer/ or give us a call for free on 08001696137 and we will be pleased to help.

We have an article about subcontractors on our website that might help. Basically if you provide your own tools/materials and work under your own direction, you are a bona-fide subcontractor and should still have your own insurance. If you are instead employed for labour purposes and tools/materials are not yours then you won't need your own insurance but your employer should provide public and employers liability for you.

I only have one question. Do you have any discounts or promotions for forum members?

Sorry guys, appears I've missed a few of your questions. Notifications were not coming through from this thread so I've failed to answer some of you.

If you still need me then fire your questions below and I'll try and keep a closer eye on things!
