Hello all, I wish to spray indoors with my eze k4 I am new to this method, but am a time served plasterer. I wanted to find out best product for indoors that's most cost effective and gives a finish that's acceptable, anyone used thistle spray finish with good results?

I have mate it’s lovely gear you be worth getting a pallet to try, I’d say just do the walls though and hand apply the ceilings first
It’s slightly better formula than multi and the like , added polymers in there too so it sticks to the wall better

A finish that's acceptable. What we all strive for

Thanks vincey, I will give the thistle spray a go first as its the cheaper product I belive, and cool so only walls can be sprayed didn't know that one, thanks,

Hi,

Sadly spray finish will not go through the EZE K4. If you’re looking to spray internally - think airless plaster. It’s the fastest and most cost effective way of doing it

Don't talk such utter b*ll***s Pete. It's f**k**g horrible gear. We were given a free pallet and should have asked for a free skip to put it in.
You need to be more objective about BG products, rather than just sucking up all the time. Your opinion becomes worthless otherwise.

i don’t think we used the same material mate I even bought pallets to hand apply as I thought it was better than multi on smaller jobs think I still have some videos of the finish I’ll dig them out later

We were having so much trouble with it tearing that I phoned BG, their reply, "you are trowelling it up with a plaziflex aren't you?". Jesus Christ I didn't even own a plastic trowel and wasn't warned in advance.

Never used the stuff myself, but I wonder if the tearing tallies with Vincey/Pete's remark about it being more sticky due to additional polymers.

I once knew a white so-called 'multi' that behaved a bit like that... now what was it called? Err...

Oh yes, I remember now: MakeGood... :frio:

That’s through my Ritmo m mate as you can see it’s going on quite thick and there’s some overspray on the floor I did do the ceiling in that room too but it’s to messy tbh
I’ll find the other videos

The problems Andy mentions is because he’s not use to the higher grain ratio , it’s a better product we have become accustomed to multi finish and the set too , the pull in time on thistle spray is really fast towards the end where as multi it’s more gradual from the hour matk normally you need to adjust trowel times to not get tearing

This is a room I did on my own sprayed the ceiling and two walls
Not brilliant but was ok for first attempt I thought

Backtracking now

This a small ceiling hand applied with it just seeing what it was like

You don't half talk some shite Pete.

The only type of finishing product worth spraying internally is airless. That needs a completely different type of machine to yours.
Still got to tape and fill before u can airless so don’t see the point of it apart from it’s a decent finish

Not sure about the Eze I never used one but the ritmo sprayed 10 bags (each bag approximately 14m2 ) in about 35 minutes mate I found this one too , at this speed it was approximately 2/3mm thick
Boards down for the overspray too

Looks good,Definitely worth spraying I think, I do 2 decent hits most days and it's hard on the body, shame u can't do ceilings but walls is z good start

OK thanks for the info I'll need another machine then
