I put on a bedroom ceiling at 8 last night. Came out ok. Used 1 trowel from start to finish which I have not done in 15 years. Came out nice.

Today is daddy day care and working on the land rover.

Still camping and pondering world affairs also thinking of retirement

20 years ago i planned on affording Retirement by 50 should have happened not long ago !
But i still enjoy the game . So after all this lockdown stuff im winding down and just working for my list of good long term domestic regulars. I've knocked the bigger job contacts on the head and feel alot better and free for it. Plenty of fingers in other pies so wont starve but nearly 40 years in the game has taken its toll in ware and tear so no point going full at it till 65 if you can afford to get out sooner and enjoy the last quarter rather than being the richest geezer in the graveyard !

So you're gonna be the richest geezer in the grave yard :p
Can I have your new van when you're done with it after the whip round ? The fekers want £295 to tax mine end of month ffs ! :frenetico:

I was planning on getting a new transit semi high top, but a few good mechanics I know said theyre s**t, but those transit connects supposed to be ok with Peugeot engines can fit mixer n borrow n tools in back plus got a trailer but everything delivered to job these days so might look for one as lots cheaper tax, insurance mpg etc than one I've got now.
