I am looking for a plasterer for a job in Crosby North Liverpool.

Approx 3m2 of bonding and 20m2 of skim.

I’m having the kitchen replaced and need to get the surfaces neat before the install happens.

I was originally planning to tile everything above worktop height and it wasn’t until I started taking cupboards and tiles off that I realised walls would need sorting out properly first.

Nearly all of the work is above kitchen worktop height, there are only a couple of small areas where I need a skim finish from floor to ceiling.

Where I have removed the existing splashback tiles is rough (but solid) so what I need is somebody to bond out the messy/uneven bits to the existing skim level, and then skim over the top of it all.

I am in the process of removing the tiles and wall cupboards, will be ready for spreading from next week onwards.

All the loose/s**t/wrong bits will be removed so you can just walk in and get on with it. I will be taking off the sockets and covering the back boxes so there won’t be any fiddly/annoying bits to work around. There is one window in the room with small returns but otherwise just straightforward walls. The floor is being replaced so I’m not fussy about mess (no tiptoeing around furniture wearing boot covers.)

I don’t need the ceiling doing, just the walls.

Need to get this done before 10th May. I expect the bonding/prep is about a half day and the skim would be full day, looking for a price to complete the job including materials not day rates please.

If you are interested please email or text/whatsapp me and I will ring you to arrange looking at the work.

Bad move saying kitchen already over budget! Might put of potential lads thinking of getting in touch.
Yeah good point, that’s not what I meant, just annoying how expensive everything is, and how when you start doing something in the house it spirals into a bunch of other expensive things.

Not far from you this one.
Hey Mark, you did a really good job on my front bedroom a couple of years ago, float and set, tricky bay window. Hope you’re doing ok.

I was thinking this would be a long way for you to travel for a small job, and you’re probably booked up until christmas (like every trade in the country apparently is) but if you do have any availability or you know somebody else who might be able to do it, please give me a shout.

Still hunting for somebody to do this. I’m going to put some photos/video up tomorrow so you can see exactly what the job is. I have discovered a shitshow of shady wiring, got sparky out on 5/5 to sort it, now looking for a spread between Thursday 6/5 and Sunday 9/6.

I think it is a couple of days work, probably an easy/short day bonding and prepping and then a days skim. Not trying to tell anybody how long it should take, just giving an idea of the time commitment involved.

I know its short notice and everybody good is busy so I’m offering £650 (including materials) for this, and infinite cups of tea.

My contact details are in the first post.

Proper skills only please, I haven’t got time, money, or energy to f**k about with have a go/corsa types.

Pics up tomorrow when I’ve got all the cabinets out.

Thanks for looking.
