Why f**k about with adhesive when you can get dewalt staple gun and it goes through anything, you don't even have to aim for holes in beads as it goes through the bead too.
I have same stapler but will not go into hard walls...

No plumb reveals
I am guessing you are dabbing your beads on if they are not plumb?
My beads are not designed for that purpose they are designed for overskims where corners are already fairly plumb and also to replace the current practice of using stapled beads incorrectly. There is an acceptable method for stapling beads but i have only seen it done by a few dry liners and never by skimmers.

What's a skimmer?

I bought one of them when my Stanley finally gave in, it’s much better but no good on proper S&C angles that’s where scim or no nails comes in.
Just use the stapler on board only, clouts on everything else bar hard angles where I us scim.
Have used Multi Stick on pvc external beads to save time but thought it stuck better when Sika made it.

I tend too staple and foam them if they are out a little I bond them out. The carpenters/blockies never leave the reveals plum

10mm arrow last one's I had mate they wouldn't touch render and I know some of them internal hard angles hard as f***
Arrow staples are s**t. 10mm Stanley staples will go into render, about 1 in 10 don’t but go in far enough that you flatten them with the base of the stapler, it’s the only way for skim beads, the rest are talking nonsense
