Anyone got a board lifter kicking about that they want rid of near the midlands Let me know. got a job coming up that’s abit of a bitch so could do with one not normally my cup of tea but think it might be handy.

You use them often? I say not my cup of tea used one once but area was small so ended up loosing my rag with it so probably the wasn’t really a fair test

depends on the job mate. Got into using 6x3's if on my own, but certain jobs, better with 8x4's. Ive got one on a long term lend and once setup, it just takes away the pain.

Got a customer who wanted to do the boarding himself ,so told him to buy a lifter. He did but the big one from Amazon, no good for domestic work . I use mine but only on ground floor. Do your back in dragging large boards upstairs. Or get a lab for the day. ;)

Got one I bought for like 130quid I think online. Been using it for last 5 years at least and still fine. Some people say the cheaper ones are dangerous but had no issue at all with it. Aslong as the rooms clear and a half decent size they're best bit of kit you'll ever buy. Boarded an 18 8x4 sheet ceiling in 2 hours on my own last week without even trying to go fast
